A fully managed parking and tailgating partnership that creates a new revenue opportunity for Aldine ISD—without creating another job for your team.
W.W. Thorne Stadium brings fans, teams, and tailgaters together. With an approved paid-parking program, those events could also generate meaningful district revenue.
RAD handles the planning, people, technology, payment collection, and reporting. The district stays focused on athletics, students, and the community.
10,000-seat venue · Confirmed facility capacityScheduled games are planned in advance under one agreement. For additional events, one request activates the same turnkey service.
Event planning, staffing, designated entrance teams, technology setup, and coordination of off-duty law enforcement.
Cashless parking and approved tailgating, streamlined payment validation, and on-site support. The district need not run the lots.
A straightforward revenue statement and payment of Aldine's agreed share. RAD handles reconciliation.
No cash drawers. No parking equipment to purchase. No additional burden on district personnel.
Attendant provides a numbered QR slip with the vehicle's license plate.
Driver completes digital payment from the vehicle. Slip stays on the dashboard.
RAD validates payment electronically and directs the driver to park.
An off-duty officer is available for security and incident response—not payment operations.
Final entrance configuration and throughput are validated during site planning; safe vehicle circulation is a launch requirement.
Tailgating is part of the culture. It can be part of the revenue model without adding complexity at the entrance.
Proposed pricing only. Tailgating space inventory, footprint, safety rules, and vendor permissions require venue approval. Premium packages are not included in the financial examples.
RAD funds and manages the operation. A predetermined amount of event collections is retained first; the rest is shared—with the majority going to Aldine.
The $5,000 operating threshold is a proposed starting point, subject to agreed staffing and final contract terms. Aldine receives nothing until collections exceed the threshold. RAD remains responsible for event costs even if receipts fall short.
*RAD retained is before its operating expenses, contractor compensation, and taxes. It is not RAD profit. At the 2,000-vehicle baseline, both parties are allocated $15,000 before RAD pays its costs.
Adjust assumptions to explore event and season scenarios.
Illustrative only; subject to available paid spaces, parking rights, actual demand, tailgating layouts, jointly agreed rates, and final terms. Does not include tailgating revenue.
The following scenarios are based on paid vehicles—not stadium attendance. The lots' sellable capacity has not been confirmed.
$18,750 gross parking collections.
$26,250 gross parking collections.
$30,000 gross; this assumes the entire estimated capacity can be sold after tailgating.
Three remained on the schedule as of October 29. Future seasons depend on confirmed venue agreements and event calendars.
Attendance demonstrates variation—not paid vehicle demand. Revenue cases above are hypotheses pending a lot survey and parking demand validation.
We're not asking the athletics department to become a parking business. We're offering to operate one on the district's behalf.
